Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Love the food, ambient, service...at least two times a month we eat here or just order pickup or delivery. Food takes a little bit longer to be served because is cooked FRESH! This is just like in any restaurant in Italy, or anywhere in Europe. You sit with friends, order appetizers, nice wine, conversations, laughs, order the meal, enjoy your time there. If you're so hungry that you MUST to eat NOW...go to a fast food place. Here you are invited to enjoy your meal calmly... I love this place!

Amazing food and service! Great family style restaurant and the desserts are to die for.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I received a credit for an incorrect order. The restaurant was closed when my order finally arrived to my home so there was no time to remake it. Although we were hungry, we were understanding to the fact that the kitchen was closed. The manager on duty issued a credit for the order after I called to inform him that I could not consume dairy which was specified when my order was taken over the phone. Apparently they do not have an electronic system that could refund the money back to my card. I accepted the store credit since that was the only form of a refund available. All was well until I called tonight to place an order using the credit that I was owed. After placing the order with a very rude girl who never gave her name, never repeated my order back to me, and rushed me through the entire order I was told that I had to pay an additional $2 so that the driver could "get something for his gas and time". This didn't make sense to me because I had already paid this $2 fee PLUS $4 tip to the driver for the original order that I was unable to eat. After asking for a supervisor a woman named Kimberly came on the phone also stating that I needed to pay this additional delivery fee because they don't pay their drivers. Again, this did not make sense. I informed Kimberly that I always tip on deliveries so she acted as if she was doing me a favor by waiving the delivery fee that I already paid. The customer service at this place is awful. Vita is the closest Italian restaurant to my home but I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM ANOTHER DIME. I will drive to Antonio's in Plantation where they get my order correct every time and are always nice and friendly to guests. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Went here on a weeknight at 5:30 and we were the only ones there. The service was like molasses. Our server was sweet was everything was extremely slow. We ordered very basic things and everything took forever. I couldn't understand why since the place was empty. When the food finally came, it was definitely good. However, I will definitely think twice about dining there in person again. I have ordered take-out from here on many occasions and never had an issue.

The food was ok and the waitress was very nice. Why only 2 stars then? Because it took so long to everything get ready, our entrees came before the garlic rolls and everybody was mad about the time that they were taking. Not coming back there for sure!

OK food, horrific service, obnoxious staff, three hours for dinner if that tells you anything.

If you are looking for good Italian home cooking in a casual setting, this is the place. One of my favorite dishes is their Broccoli and shrimp over Angel hair pasta on a white wine and garlic sauce... it is excellent. It is a neighborhood restaurant with very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

This Italian restaraunt was disappointing. Three out of four of our meals were supposed to be served with garlic rolls according to the menu but nobody received any. We assumed maybe they were out and forgot to tell us but the table next to us had plenty. One person in our party ordered a pizza with toppings but it came out plain, yet they still charged for the toppings. The eggplant rollatini had barely any eggplant at all but was mostly very thick breading. Eggplant rollatini should be grilled or lightly breaded, not deep fried like it was here and the menu description didn't say it was breaded. The soup and the mozarella sticks were good and so was the pizza, even though they messed up the order.

Pretty good food, their calzones especially are worth getting. I would say though that for the price it may not be worth it. Eating inside also is kind of a downer since there isn't much going on. Pretty good for pickup and delivery.

Vita Italian and the owner Matt saved the day this past weekend. My brother got married and his caterer dropped the ball big time. When we were only an hour away from dinner and still without any food for all 110+ guests a call was made to Matt, and he came to the venue in Davie in literally 47 minutes- we timed it- with enough food to feed everyone and still have some left. Not only was the food fast, but it was delicious. Seriously, some of the best meatballs Ive ever tasted. Matt and his team saved the day. What a great guy, and some seriously delicious food. --Incase your curious, it was 2 guys caterers who dropped the ball, and they were giving a 1 star rating by me--

Freagin' ridiculously outrageously delicious food here, stellar service and solid crew working there...thank you very very much Kaitlyn...

Local Italian spot. Great for the basics. Fairly sized portions & good garlic rolls. Recent increase in price but nothing that will break the bank. Red sauce is on the sweeter side. I like the fried eggplant slices for apps. Consistent food & friendly service.

Nothing other than one star is possible when you experience what I did at this restaurant today! Ordered a slice. He took my money, gave me my change, turned around to the dough that was sitting on the counter, and continued making garlic rolls! No gloves. No hand washing. Just handed me back my change and kept doing what he was doing. I had to say something. I quietly pointed out what he did. He said oh, sorry. And then what did he do? He turned right around, and with his money hands, continued to make the rolls! He was actually a bit angry about being told, and made a comment to the waitress that they really needed someone on the register today! REALLY? Your restaurant had ONE person dining, and one at the counter! Are you too busy to wash your hands? Do gloves cost too much? If this is what he does in front of a customer, I am terrified to think what he does behind the scenes! You can read my reviews and see that I very rarely slam a place like this. I am very fair. I don't want businesses closing. This, however, is completely out of the question. I hope that someone from the health department reads this! I will not be passing through these doors ever again! This bothered me enough that I called the owner later and complained. One would think that he would be outraged with his employee, but he was more interested in quoting Fl. law to me. Since the food is going to be heated, gloves are not required. There is no way I can get sick! He was very clear to say that he personally wears gloves. He also said he would talk to the employee. I would love to have these guys over to my house, visit the bathroom, and continue to handle their food without washing my hands. I would of course, heat it to kill any bacteria! Think they would eat it?

I love to try local places, so thought I'd give this one a shot for lunch. It's close to my home, and a small, cozy looking place. I ate here yesterday. Where do I begin? First, the place is tiny. Not a problem if its cozy, but I was disturbed by a couple of loud obnoxious groups. One group was playing video clips ....this is a PUBLIC place, people. The second loud group was apparently a group of friends or family of the owner. I felt unwanted, as if I was intruding on a private family dinner. But to be specific, noise level was an issue. Would not have been so bad if the TV was on, or there was music...SOMETHING for atmosphere. But nada. Took FOREVER to get waited on, even though the place was not very busy. There were 2 groups and 2 tables besides mine filled, so it was SLOW. I ordered antipasto salad and boneless wings. The salad was good, I will admit. Garlic rolls on the house were Horribly garlicy and soaked in butter...indigestion that lasted all day resulted from just one!! The chicken tenders took so long that I had them boxed up to go. When I finally tried them an hour later at home, they were soggy, greasy, and awful...just threw the whole meal away...complete waste of $$. The waitress never came around to ask me if it was okay and I was not able to get a soda refill. Mostly I was just ignored. I fee like the owners are just using this place for their own family to hang out...customers are an intrusion. NOT GOOD. Would not go back, and would not recommend. Save your money and skip it. Landlubbers next door has great burgers and decent seafood, along with halfway decent service.

Casual, great service, good food! Open late-- small and cozy. Often have football game on tv.

This place was great when Joe Pistone owned it and better when his father Pietro owned it. The new owner brings it downhill more and more each day. He treats his customers and even his staff like dirt and it reflects on their service. The food is inconsistently sloppy and the way they work is unorganized. I used to be a regular there and sadly watched this great place become less than pleasant. He had a great front of house staff that kept the place running smoothly and kept customers satisfied with their service but the new owner managed to chase them away and now it's filled with kids and a staff that seems to not care and I can hardly blame them. If it weren't for familiar friends and old faces still working there I would have stopped going years ago when it changed hands im 2007. Don't even let me bring up catering. Just to keep it short, the people in the dining room mean absolutely nothing when there is a large catering going out the door and once again the wait staff is only following orders from their terrible boss. My advice is simple. Don't go there. There is plenty of better Italian places all around Cooper City.

They used to have really good value lunches, but have recently undergone a change in management or something. Now they have increased their prices and lowered their portions like many other places. Only did take out - stopped ordering because I couldnt afford their lunch prices. Food was decent quality.
